Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an .dxf file?
You can use just about any of the popular Comuputer Aided Drafting (CAD) programs,(example AutoCad), to design your piece. After designing you will need to choose export as .dxf file. This will create a fle with the .dxf extention that I can use to fabricate the piece.

Can I send g-code instead of dxf?
Yes. We can convert your drawings done in g-code to .dxf files.

What tolerances can I expect on my design?
On 12' length +/- .125" but, most other cuts on small parts can expect +/- .030

How do I estimate costs?
You can either send a dxf file or scan a hand drawing with dimensions attached to your email for your quote.
